Description
This presolicitation is limited to certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and seeks correction of facility condition assessment deficiencies related to water penetration at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide all labor, supplies, transportation, supervision, and equipment necessary to correct deficiencies in the chiller plant and multiple buildings. The work includes repairing or replacing flashing and roofing, selectively repairing deteriorated masonry joints, recaulking around windows, repairing rain leader connections, replacing sections of underground storm sewer pipes, and regrading around buildings. The procurement is estimated at $5,000,000 to $10,000,000, contemplates a firm-fixed-price contract, and has a maximum completion period of 380 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must be registered in SAM and meet VETCERT SDVOSB certification requirements. A 20% bid guarantee and 100% performance and payment bonds are required. Amendment 0002 extends the response date to November 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time; the new bid opening date will be posted by a later amendment.
