Description
The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District is soliciting bids for Bid Package 1, covering mechanical renovations and upgrades at Beaumont Elementary School, Devon Elementary School, New Eagle Elementary School, Valley Forge Middle School, Conestoga High School, and the West Valley Administration Building. The work includes replacement of rooftop units, air-handling units, heat pumps, split-system equipment, exhaust fans, and related HVAC components; building automation controller upgrades; ductwork, controls, insulation, roofing, louvers, ceilings, painting, and associated general trades work. The package also includes domestic hot- and cold-water piping at Devon Elementary School, electrical panel replacement at Conestoga High School, and associated plumbing and electrical work. Bidders may submit proposals for General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing Construction. A 10 percent proposal guaranty is required for each contract, and successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds, insurance evidence, and a signed agreement after award. The mechanical contractor will serve as prime coordinator, and the work is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements and school-site background-clearance requirements.
