Description
Chester County is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to provide a turnkey propane autogas fueling station at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus. The scope includes leasing and installing two 1,990-gallon aboveground storage tanks, piping, valves, gauges, dispensing equipment, an electronic fuel-management system, telemetry, and related infrastructure. The system must support 16 propane buses, with potential expansion for 14 additional buses, and must meet applicable safety, electrical, propane, and fire-code requirements. The contractor must supply HD-5 propane, provide automatic and emergency deliveries, maintain fuel levels, perform monthly maintenance and safety inspections, provide 24/7 emergency support and training, and remove the leased equipment at contract expiration. The initial term is three years, with a possible three-month extension and two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement on pricing. Bidders must submit pricing for both adjustable and fixed three-year options, a 10% bid guaranty, required qualification and certification forms, references for comparable projects completed within the past five years, and a surety consent for 100% performance and labor-and-materials bonds.
