Description
The Borough of West Chester is soliciting bids for traffic signal maintenance services. The scope includes furnishing labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies, with bid items for signal technicians, signal mechanics, equipment operators, foremen, service vehicles, bucket trucks, crane/ladder trucks, auger trucks, backhoes, dump trucks, compressors, and trenching equipment. Service locations are identified in the project specifications and attached map. The initial contract period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with the option to extend for 2028 and 2029 at the applicable bid-alternate prices. Bidders must have been in business for at least five years and have at least three years of experience specific to the work. No subcontractors are permitted. Required bid materials include the online bid form, bid security, qualification information, references, affidavits, and insurance certification. The selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment security after award.
