Description
The City of Schertz is soliciting proposals for as-needed commercial concrete and related asphalt services throughout the city. The scope includes minor and major flatwork such as sidewalks, drainage structures, curbs, gutters, ADA curb ramps, concrete cutting, crack repair, core drilling, joint sealing, concrete removal, asphalt patching, flowable fill, driveway sections, and concrete encasements. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, mobilization, permits, signage, safety barricades, insurance, bonds, and quality control required for individual projects. Proposers must demonstrate a valid Texas contractor's license, applicable registrations, and at least five years of comparable commercial concrete experience. The proposal must address staffing, on-call management, safety, quality assurance/quality control, communication, qualifications, work planning, pricing, and references. The agreement is anticipated to have a three-year initial term with two optional one-year renewals. Subcontracting requires the City's written approval.
