Description
This build-to-print construction project requires one contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and oversight needed to implement approved stream restoration plans at two Lancaster County properties: approximately 1,300 linear feet at the Samuel Lapp property and 628 linear feet at the Amos Beiler property. Work includes streambank stabilization, in-stream habitat structures, grading, erosion and sediment controls, seeding, mulching, riparian-buffer planting, temporary access and crossings, and restoration of disturbed areas in accordance with the supplied drawings, permits, and specifications. Bidders must submit a combined lump-sum price for both properties and a separate price for the Lapp property alone. If the combined price exceeds available grant funding, the buyer may award only the Lapp project. The work is subject to prevailing wages under the Davis-Bacon Act, and the contractor must provide construction oversight, photographs, status information, and final-report support. The project must be completed by March 1, 2028. A bid guarantee of 5% is required for bids exceeding $250,000; performance and payment bonds of 100% are required prior to award when applicable.
