Description
The City of Vancouver is seeking a contractor to provide shop drawings, site investigation, utility locates, project planning, submittals, supply, fabrication, hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, delivery, and installation of custom architectural perimeter fencing at Mountain View Cemetery. Installation includes layout, excavation, concrete foundations, anchors, fasteners, hardware, surface restoration, site protection, mobilization, traffic and site management, and protection of cemetery assets and operations. The work is planned as a phased, multi-year fencing program totaling up to approximately 600 metres over up to three years, with individual phases generally consisting of at least 85 metres. The design, materials, appearance, and finishes must strictly comply with the specifications; design variations will result in disqualification. The contractor must provide material and galvanizing certificates, product data, coating specifications, safety planning, construction scheduling, warranty documentation, and related project deliverables. A minimum one-year warranty on materials and workmanship is required.
