Description
Colquitt County is soliciting a contractor to design, furnish, and erect an approximately 30-by-30-foot red-iron metal storage building behind the existing agricultural building. The scope includes a minimum four-inch concrete foundation, 26-gauge insulated roof and wall panels, a minimum 3:12 roof pitch, gutters and downspouts, one 12-by-12-foot commercial roll-up door, one commercial steel personnel door, structural framing, bracing, anchorage, and all required materials and equipment. The contractor must provide shop drawings, permits, leveling and compaction, debris disposal, manufacturer-compliant installation, as-built plans, warranty details, and OSHA-compliant installation and safety practices. Bidders must demonstrate five years of relevant experience, provide proof of five similar completed projects, be licensed and insured, provide workers' compensation coverage, complete E-Verify requirements, and clear a background check. A mandatory pre-bid site meeting is required to participate. The bid packet includes an alternate-price option for using other materials.
