Description
This bid package covers the complete, turnkey furnishing and installation of miscellaneous metals for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The scope includes PE-sealed delegated design and support framing for four kitchen hoods, roof-opening framing, island knee-wall tube posts, lintels, miscellaneous supports, and related work shown in the construction documents. Interior items are to be shop-primed and exterior items galvanized; an IAS AC172 fabricator is required, with non-accreditation disclosed on the Bid Form. The lump-sum bid must include labor, materials, equipment, supervision, hoisting, taxes, permits, fees, layout, firestopping, cutting and patching, protection of existing work, cleanup, closeout documents, training, and a one-year warranty from Substantial Completion. Bidders must be prequalified and submit the provided Bid Form in a sealed envelope. Site requirements include worker background checks, identification, E-Verify, hot-work permitting and fire watch, RRP practices for assumed lead paint, and compliance with the construction manager’s schedule and pass-through liquidated damages.
