Description
Daniels & Daniels Construction Co., Inc., serving as Construction Manager at Risk for Pender County Schools, is soliciting a prequalified concrete subcontractor for Bid Package BP-02 for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The scope includes slab pour-backs at utility trenches, vapor-barrier repair, epoxy dowels, bonding agent, 3,000-psi concrete, control joints, a reinforced six-inch DOAS equipment pad with anchors, and a new exterior walkway with joints, broom finish, ADA slopes, grading, and turf restoration. The lump-sum, turnkey bid must include labor, materials, equipment, supervision, hoisting, permits, fees, mobilizations, cold-weather protection, coordination with owner testing, barricading, cleanup, and customary trade work. Bidders must be prequalified and submit the provided bid form, including base pricing, deductive pricing, unit prices, lead times, duration, exclusions, qualifications, addenda acknowledgment, and required certifications. The work is subject to background checks, E-Verify, insurance requirements, schedule coordination, pass-through liquidated damages of $500 per day, and closeout deliverables including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and training.
