Description
Greenville County Schools is soliciting a fixed-price bid for a turnkey concrete project at Blue Ridge High School. The work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and related services to demolish and replace a front-of-school walk with 4-inch concrete and welded wire mesh; demolish and replace concrete paving with 6-inch high-density fiber-reinforced concrete; replace vault lids with pinned and poured concrete; fill the vault with No. 57 stone; replace two concrete ramps; and demolish and replace front steps with saw-cut, tooled-nosing details. Concrete must generally be at least 3,000 psi, and demolished concrete must be hauled off site. The project must begin after award and issuance of a purchase order and be completed by June 30, 2027. A one-year workmanship and cracking warranty is required, and liquidated damages are $250 per day after the required completion date. Bids must be submitted through the procurement portal; faxed and emailed bids are not accepted. Required response materials include the portal bid response, cover letter, Bid Response Certification, Drug-Free Workplace Certification, GCS Alternate W-9, proof of insurance, business license if applicable, and at least three references. Subcontracting requires prior written approval, and proposed subcontractors must be identified in the bid.
