Description
Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office is seeking a vendor to administer outside inmate medical claims and manage pharmacy costs. The scope includes reviewing medical bills for billing and coding accuracy; identifying duplicate, improper, or ineligible charges; repricing or negotiating claims; coordinating provider payments; resolving billing questions; reviewing medication and pharmacy invoices; and providing medication repricing, pharmacy purchasing, or other pharmacy cost-management services when available. The vendor must provide itemized invoices and reports covering billed charges, provider payments, pharmacy costs, vendor fees, and County savings; securely handle protected health information; and execute an appropriate Business Associate Agreement. Responses must describe company experience with jails or public entities, claims and payment processes, pharmacy capabilities and any third-party delivery arrangements, complete fees, estimated annual fees, cost protections, three comparable client references, requested agreement exceptions, and any additional pharmacy expenditure information needed to prepare an accurate proposal. The anticipated agreement is for one year with no automatic renewal. The County paid approximately $25,324.52 for outside inmate medical services in 2025, excluding medication and pharmacy costs; this figure is for estimating purposes only and does not guarantee future volume or spending.
