Description
Douglas County School District RE-1 is soliciting proposals for dedicated, symmetrical 1 Gbps point-to-point Layer 2 connectivity from two new schools to the District’s data center. The service must be scalable from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps without changing local equipment, use single-mode fiber handoffs to Cisco Layer 3 devices at each school and the data center, and include network construction, installation, testing, and activation. Respondents must provide pricing for one-, three-, and five-year contract options, with up to five voluntary one-year extensions, and separate monthly recurring and nonrecurring charges. Services must be fully operational by February 1, 2027, and proposals will be evaluated on price, deployment schedule, technical design, qualifications and references, and contract terms. The response must include qualifications and personnel information, three recent K-12 references, a scope response, pricing, exceptions, the completed Exceptions Form, and the signed Certification Regarding Debarment and Suspension.
