Description
South Metro Fire Rescue Fire Protection District is soliciting proposals from a qualified firm to plan, develop, administer, and evaluate promotional assessment processes for its 2027 Battalion Chief, Captain, Engineer, Lieutenant, EMS Battalion Chief, and EMS Captain positions. Services may include customized job-related assessment tools, written examinations, practical exercises, simulations, scenario-based exercises, assessor training, assessment administration, scoring, final rating packets, candidate feedback, and secure handling of assessment and candidate information. The selected contractor must demonstrate relevant fire-service, emergency-services, or municipal assessment experience; identify qualified key personnel; provide at least three similar customer references from the past five years; and submit separate technical and cost proposals. The cost proposal must include base-year pricing, rank- and candidate-band pricing, included and optional services, expense caps, and pricing or an adjustment method for four optional renewal years. The anticipated contract term is one base year with up to four additional one-year renewal periods.
