Description
South Suburban Park and Recreation District is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for improvements at Sunset Park. The work includes demolition, grading, concrete flatwork, playground equipment installation, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, shade structure installation, electrical renovations, a post-tensioned half basketball court, horseshoe pit, site furnishings, sodding, landscaping, and irrigation modifications. Bidders must submit a cashier’s check or bid bond with their bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The awarded contractor must furnish performance, payment, and warranty bonds. Contract documents become available after September 14, 2026, and the non-mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled for September 18, 2026.
