Description
The City and County of Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is soliciting proposals for custom green infrastructure curb inlets, chase drain covers, and associated embedded frames. The required inlet openings are 12, 24, and 36 inches, with custom tooling and design coordination included. Chase drain covers must be available in those widths, in 18-inch and 36-inch standard lengths and variable lengths from 6 inches to more than 20 feet, with separately priced frames where applicable. Multiple aesthetic designs may be proposed. Products must comply with the stated dimensional, loading, accessibility, slip-resistance, material, and referenced engineering standards, including AASHTO HS 20 loading, ADA requirements, ASTM A48 or ASTM A536 materials, and ASTM E303 slip-resistance testing. The contract requires product data sheets and/or testing sheets for products meeting the technical requirements, delivery to Denver, Colorado, warranty support, and firm pricing for the initial contract period with possible annual pricing updates through September 2031.
