Description
Douglas County Government is establishing a preferred vendor list of qualified contractors to provide turnkey painting, coating, surface preparation, roof coating, related repairs, cleanup, disposal, and emergency response services on an as-needed basis. Work may include interior, exterior, and metal painting; roof cleaning, priming, coating, and restoration; pressure washing, scraping, sanding, rust and paint removal, mildew treatment, masking, and surface protection; minor carpentry, drywall, stucco, concrete, flashing, caulking, and EPDM repairs; and graffiti, vandalism, water-damage, and safety-related coating-failure response. Contractors must provide labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, safety equipment, supplies, and disposal. The County expects to issue negotiated task orders using time-and-materials, cost-plus-percentage, negotiated task-order, or fixed-price arrangements. Responses must include qualifications, company experience, assigned personnel and resumes, approach, safety history, pricing and labor estimates, three current or prior similar-project references, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and legal-dispute disclosures. The resulting blanket purchase agreements authorize, but do not guarantee, any minimum or maximum quantity or dollar value of work. Successful respondents must provide required insurance, comply with background-check and facility-access requirements, and perform services on site when directed by the County.
