Description
Greater Southern Tier BOCES is soliciting proposals from brokers licensed to operate in New York State for health insurance brokerage services supporting approximately 900 active employees and several retirees. The scope includes working with multiple insurance carriers and products, advising on plan development and cost containment, identifying competitive pricing opportunities, protecting the organization against future claims, and assisting with lawsuits, administrative claims, litigation, and other assigned insurance matters. Proposals may address the full scope or emphasize subsets of these services. Proposers must describe their brokerage experience, strategy, litigation success rate, staffing approach, customer service and response times, data security and confidentiality practices, conflicts procedures, staff diversity, fee structure, organizational qualifications, and the qualifications and education of assigned brokers. The proposal must include one original and ten copies and follow the required format. The anticipated contract is for one year, renewable for subsequent years by agreement.
