Description
The Texas A&M University System is seeking a qualified actuarial firm to support its self-insured health, prescription drug, and dental plans; retirement and benefits programs; and self-insured risk programs. Services include annual premium pricing, plan-design cost modeling, IBNR reserve calculations, funding and rate recommendations, loss projections, reserve analyses, allocation methodologies, and related actuarial or financial analyses for workers’ compensation, automobile liability and physical damage, prescribed burn liability, property, and other programs as needed. The engagement also includes annual actuarial valuation services for other post-employment benefits in compliance with GASB standards, including actuarial assumptions, post-retirement plan analysis, accounting requirements, and reporting. The initial agreement term is three years, with up to three additional one-year extensions, and the maximum performance period ends October 31, 2029. Respondents must submit qualification materials, references and experience information, a proposed cost worksheet, required execution and affidavit forms, and a State of Texas subcontracting plan.
