Description
Jefferson County is seeking motel operators to reserve designated clean, safe rooms for individuals and families experiencing homelessness during activated cold-weather emergency responses. The anticipated seasonal service period is October 1 through April 30, with activation based on severe-weather forecasts and County direction. Contractors must provide lodging and related services, including front-desk coverage, room keys, bedding and bathroom supplies, heating and cooling, utilities, available wireless internet, janitorial and common-area maintenance, emergency maintenance, parking, snow and ice removal, and housekeeping and linen laundering. Contractors must maintain guest and billing records, provide monthly invoices, support authorized guest referrals, and comply with applicable habitability, accessibility, lead-based-paint, federal-funding, and insurance requirements. Responses must include the completed Company Submission Form, W-9, Room Rates, and applicable supporting attachments, submitted electronically through BidNet.
