Description
The State of Ohio is soliciting proposals from one or more contractors, evaluated by region, to administer its self-insured Ohio Med medical benefits for state employees and their dependents. The scope covers administration of the existing preferred provider organization, narrow-network, and high-deductible health plan designs without exceptions, including claims administration, eligibility verification, care-transition support, and coordination of claims history when changing contractors. The selected contractor must administer claims incurred on or after July 1, 2027. Offerors must submit technical and cost proposals through the OhioBuys Supplier Portal and complete the required nondisclosure agreement to obtain Exhibits 9 and 10. The solicitation includes multiple technical, financial, provider-discount, geo-access, census, reporting, interface, and business-associate exhibits and is designated as an MBE set-aside.
