Description
The Regional Transportation District is soliciting proposals for comprehensive maintenance services at RTD bus shelters and transfer centers. The scope includes custodial cleaning, pressure washing, consumable restocking, graffiti removal and surface restoration, snow and ice removal, anti-icing and de-icing, and maintenance of pedestrian and vehicle areas. Services cover Group 3 shelters, North Federal and South Federal shelters, the Federal and Colfax Transfer Center, and the Federal and Evans Transfer Center. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, vehicles, water, cleaning products, consumables, traffic-control equipment, GPS vehicle tracking, emergency response, quality control, and staffing sufficient to maintain safe and acceptable conditions at all times. The proposal must include a cover letter, technical proposal, custodial plan, graffiti removal plan, snow removal plan, staffing plan, equipment plan, quality control plan, relevant project experience and references, organizational charts and resumes, cost proposal, open-records copies of the technical and cost proposals, SBE documentation, organizational conflict-of-interest certification, current W-9, and key personnel information. The contract is fixed-price, with a three-year base period and two potential one-year option periods. A 15% SBE participation goal applies, and the solicitation may result in multiple contracts.
