Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting reopened market research for a ROSA Knee System. The requirement includes one ROSA Recon Platform 110V (P/N 20802010001), one ROSA Robotic Unit Cover or Drape (P/N 20802008002), four sets of the ROSA Knee General Instrument Kit (P/N KT802005000), four sets of the ROSA Knee Persona V1.4 Kit (P/N KT802006004), and one ROSA Patient-Specific Instrument X-ray Calibration Object (P/N 20808502000). The platform is an FDA-cleared robotic surgical assistant designed to support total knee replacements. The notice states an intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Red One Medical Devices LLC, described as the exclusive federal distribution and contracting partner for Zimmer Biomet products. The Government is also assessing whether sufficient authorized small-business sources exist to warrant a set-aside and reserves the right to proceed as a sole-source or competitive acquisition. Interested contractors must submit a capability statement containing company details, SAM UEI number, address, point-of-contact information, and business-size certification.
