Description
Greater Dayton Premier Management is soliciting a fixed-price, turnkey replacement of existing CCTV systems in the common areas of six occupied hi-rise residential buildings. The work includes removal and disposal of existing equipment; furnishing and installing IP and Universal HD-over-Coax cameras; MDF and IDF racks, servers, encoders, PoE switches, UPS units, power supplies, surge protection, patch panels, fiber trays, Cat 6 cabling, six-strand OM3 fiber, conduits, mounts, junction boxes, and related infrastructure. Basis-of-design equipment includes Digital Watchdog cameras and DW Spectrum video management, with equivalent products permitted subject to approval. The contractor must provide architectural repairs, firestopping, system programming, testing and commissioning, cabling certification and labeling, verification of camera views and recording, remote-access configuration, operator and administrator training, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings. All six buildings remain occupied, requiring resident protection, coordinated outages, daily restoration of life-safety and security systems, and work generally limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The contract is a stipulated-sum project with a maximum period of 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. A $120,000 contingency allowance is included in the base bid, and the project is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, HUD requirements, Section 3 requirements, and Section 889/NDAA certification.
