Description
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide broad-scale, as-needed general carpentry services at RTA-owned, operated, or maintained facilities. The scope includes commercial carpentry and framing; wood and metal stud framing; backing and blocking; hollow metal and wood doors, frames, and hardware; acoustical ceiling tile and grid work; drywall patching and installation, fire stopping, smoke-seal restoration, wall finishes, and fiberglass-reinforced panels; cove base; trim carpentry; custom cabinets and vanities; painting; millwright or specialty installation; and related incidental finish work. This is a time-and-materials contract with fixed labor and equipment rates and reimbursement of direct material costs plus fixed per-unit fees. Work will be authorized on an as-needed basis and performed in occupied, operational transit environments, requiring coordination with RTA, protection of facilities and the public, cleanup, prevailing-wage compliance, and applicable federal transit requirements. The initial term is three years, with up to two additional one-year option periods. RTA may award to one or more contractors. Bidders must complete the pricing table and required electronic submission items, including bid security, qualifications and references, certifications, affidavits, and other required confirmations.
