Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with PTW North America Corporation for a BEAMSCAN water phantom system and related equipment. The requirement includes the BEAMSCAN Water Phantom with lift/reservoir carriage, water and temperature sensor, dual-channel electrometer, Semiflex 3D chambers, TRUFIX, BEAMSCAN software, PLAMO option, and connecting type BNT; a universal detector holder; a microDiamond detector; TRUFIX holders; two waterproof Farmer chambers; two ADCL Co-60 calibration points in water; and a laptop computer. The requirement also includes shipping and handling plus two days of onsite installation and training for the BEAMSCAN 3D Water Phantom System. The Government states that it is soliciting only one source under RFO 12.102(a), although interested sources may submit capability information demonstrating that competition would benefit the Government in future procurements.
