SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase GE CARESCAPE B450 medical products through a consortium or group purchasing organization contract. Vendors offering equivalent products may contact the procurement officer, but equivalency must be demonstrated through clinical performance and key performance indicators. An equivalent-product offer must include supporting clinical documentation and provide equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial at no cost. Vendors must be authorized by the original equipment manufacturer to sell the offered products under the applicable group purchasing organization contract or as an approved equivalent. The successful contractor must submit valid and current New York State workers’ compensation and disability forms.
