Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the New York VA Health Care Network (VISN 2), intends to award a sole-source temporary bridge contract for durable medical equipment services supporting its upstate facilities. The scope includes environmental assessments; climate-controlled storage of beneficiary equipment; delivery, setup, repair, instruction in use, and pickup of government-purchased items; installation of grab bars and air conditioners; and maintenance of feeding pumps. Potential equipment includes hospital beds, feeding pumps, trapezes, patient lifts, mattresses, bathroom equipment, ambulation devices, and air conditioners. The stated period of performance is October 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with an estimated total contract amount of $814,985.
