Description
Greater Dayton Premier Management is requesting a quote for construction services at its Wentworth property. The work includes removing three existing exterior fire-rated double-door assemblies and furnishing and installing three UL-listed, three-hour fire-rated steel double-door systems, including frames, fire-rated hardware, thresholds, seals, sweeps, and related restoration. The contractor must field-verify openings, obtain required City of Dayton permits, submit product data and UL certifications, and complete installation in accordance with applicable fire, building, accessibility, and life-safety codes. The project also includes removing and replacing four aluminum storefront entrance doors—two nominally 36 by 84 inches and two nominally 38 by 84 inches—with upper-section vision glass and lower solid panels. Work includes compatible commercial hardware, panic/exit devices, closers or automatic operators, thresholds, weather stripping, glazing, reinstallation of existing electromagnetic locks, demolition, disposal, patching, temporary security, inspections, and final cleanup. The project is HUD-funded and subject to Davis-Bacon labor standards and Section 3 requirements. Bidders must submit the completed and signed GDPM quote form; a bid guarantee and payment/performance bond are required if the bid exceeds $100,000.
