Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement for a fully automated, walk-away, continuous-access blood bank system supporting the 88th Medical Group Laboratory Flight. The requirement includes instrumentation, FDA-approved and instrument-specific reagents, consumables, controls, standards, and related hardware capable of performing blood bank testing on a single platform, including ABO/Rh grouping, antibody screening and identification, cell panels, and serial dilutions for titration studies. The system must use column agglutination technology, support integration with current and future laboratory information systems including MHS Genesis, and be new and current-model equipment. The scope also includes transportation, delivery, installation, calibration, validation support, operator training, continuously stocked supplies, technical support, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and equipment collection at the end of the agreement. The proposed contract will run for 12 months with four additional 12-month extension periods. This is a notice of intent to award to QuidelOrtho Sales Company, LLC; interested parties must submit clear and convincing capability statements demonstrating compliance with the stated technical and operational requirements.
