Description
The City of Riverside is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and related construction services to restore the metal roof over its fire apparatus maintenance facility. The scope includes pressure washing and cleaning, rust removal, repair or replacement of damaged metal, fasteners, flashings, penetrations, gutters, and obsolete roof components, followed by installation of a fluid-applied silicone roofing restoration system with reinforcing fabric, primers, sealants, and flashing repairs. The contractor must be a California Class C-39 roofing contractor in good standing, a certified Pre-Approved Garland Contractor, and have at least five years of continuous experience on projects of similar scope and complexity. The work must be completed within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, without disrupting operations at the active vehicle maintenance facility. The project requires a five-year workmanship warranty, manufacturer inspections during installation, prevailing-wage and public-works compliance, and specified product, shop-drawing, sample, certification, insurance, bonding, and closeout submittals.
