Description
The City of Riverside Public Works Department is seeking a contractor to provide continuous landscape and general outside maintenance services for freeway on- and off-ramps. The scope includes turf mowing, edging, aeration, fertilization, overseeding, dethatching, tree and shrub maintenance, groundcover and vine care, weed and disease control, rodent and insect control, irrigation inspection and repair, litter and debris removal, graffiti reporting, drainage and hard-surface maintenance, and plant replacement. The contractor must also provide traffic control, safety measures, waste disposal, reporting, schedules, and required permits, including freeway encroachment permits from Caltrans. The proposal must include pricing, an editable narrative proposal addressing company information, personnel, subcontractors, disclosures, qualifications, approach and methodology, and professional references. Required qualifications include at least three years of similar experience, a C-27 landscape maintenance license, a Qualified Applicator License, and active California Department of Industrial Relations registration. The initial agreement term is three years, with two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum term of five years. The City will evaluate qualifications and experience, approach and methodology, references, and pricing.
