The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is soliciting quotations for the supply and delivery of 1-inch-minus rock, 1-ton rock meeting Caltrans Class VIII specifications, and 2-ton rock meeting Caltrans Class IX specifications. The primary quantities are 320 tons of 1-inch-minus rock, 1,500 tons of 1-ton rock, and 1,640 tons of 2-ton rock, with an additional pending quantity of 80, 1,000, and 500 tons respectively for two locations subject to right-of-way confirmation. Rock must be non-recycled, blocky and predominantly angular, and comply with the stated Caltrans quality requirements. Bidders must provide material cost, haul rate, tax, total cost per ton, estimated delivery dates by stockpile and rock type, delivery method and load quantities, and whether special unloading equipment is required for the 2-ton rock. Delivery is to multiple flood-control stockpile locations, including sites along the Santa Ana River, San Jacinto Line E, Warm Springs at Adams Avenue, Cathedral Canyon Channel, and Noble Creek at Brookside. Required submission materials include the completed Exhibit B cost sheet, proof of insurance, Secretary of State registration status, and a current business license or applicable exemption statement.
