Description
Riverside County is seeking a contractor to provide scheduled preventive maintenance for existing HVAC equipment supporting the Sheriff's Public Safety Enterprise Communications facilities. The scope includes air-cooled condensers, air handlers, filters, control panels, dampers, motors, coils, compressors, relays, thermostats, chilled-water pumps, air-cooled chillers, and server-room cooling units. Preventive maintenance is required every 30 days at the Alessandro site, every 60 days at east-county sites, and every 90 days at west-county sites, with all labor, travel, testing equipment, supervision, materials, and filters included in the maintenance pricing. The contractor must also provide 24/7 emergency repair availability, respond to emergency requests within three hours, quote repairs on a time-and-materials basis, provide portable air-conditioning equipment when needed, and submit inspection and repair reports. Bidders must hold a current California C-20 contractor's license and Department of Industrial Relations registration, provide background-checked personnel when required, and comply with prevailing-wage requirements. The agreement is stated as a five-year period of performance, with no guaranteed purchase quantity.
