Description
The City of Riverside Public Utilities, Energy Delivery Division, is soliciting bids for replacement of obsolete high-molecular-polyethylene and cable-in-conduit construction with XLPE cable and conduits in the Canyon Crest neighborhood. The work includes trenching, excavation, backfill, shoring, conduit installation, underground substructures, core drilling, paving and concrete restoration, traffic control, vegetation removal, and related utility construction activities. The contractor must provide the required labor, equipment, materials, qualified electrical workers, permits, traffic control, stormwater best management practices, and project documentation. The bid requires a 10% bid bond or approved cashier’s/certified check; performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price are required after award. The estimated bid value is $3,006,531, and the work must be completed within 120 working days after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must demonstrate five comparable completed projects within the preceding five years and submit the required proposal forms, qualifications and experience information, sustainability questionnaire, non-collusion declaration, customer service acknowledgment, Iran Contracting Act affidavit, and bid security.
