Description
Desert Sands Unified School District is soliciting multiple-prime bids for installation of owner-furnished metal and fabric shade shelters at multiple schools. The contractor must load shelter materials from the district office, deliver them to each site, install footings and reinforced steel in accordance with the drawings, and install the metal structures. The work also includes rerouting irrigation where turf and existing lines interfere with footing locations. Bidders must hold a California B contractor's license and maintain active registration as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. The lowest responsive responsible bidder will be evaluated on the base bid amount. A 10% bid security is required with the Bid Form and Proposal; the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds after award.
