Daniels & Daniels Construction Co., Inc., serving as construction manager at risk for Pender County Schools, is soliciting a prequalified roofing subcontractor for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The scope includes furnishing and installing flashing at new and reused roof curbs, flashing for new vent, gas, and conduit penetrations, infilling abandoned penetrations, installing compatible materials through a manufacturer-approved installer, providing temporary daily watertight protection, constructing crickets at qualifying curbs, and conducting a pre-construction roof survey with the construction manager. The work is a lump-sum, turnkey package including labor, materials, equipment, supervision, hoisting, permits, fees, and related trade responsibilities. Bidders must provide a manufacturer warranty letter and a two-year installer workmanship warranty, maintain the existing manufacturer warranty, comply with background-check, E-Verify, hot-work, lead-paint, safety, cleanup, scheduling, and closeout requirements, and submit the completed bid form in a sealed envelope. The bid form requests a base bid, unit prices, lead times, duration, crew size, exclusions, qualifications, and addenda acknowledgment.
