Description
Coachella Valley Water District is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call soil compaction and concrete testing services, including reports, for various capital improvement projects during calendar years 2027 and 2028. The District expects to select two or more firms and issue individual task orders for projects involving domestic water, general district, sanitation, stormwater, irrigation, nonpotable water, and groundwater replenishment work. The scope includes field soil compaction inspections and testing, moisture determinations, maximum-density testing, soil classification, sieve analysis, liquid limit, plasticity index, permeability, R-value, aggregate testing, concrete cylinder preparation and compression-strength testing, and related reporting. Services must comply with the latest edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction and applicable supplements. Proposals must include qualifications, personnel information, project approach, references, representative projects from the last five years, claims/lawsuits disclosures, a standard fee table, and the completed Iran Contracting Act Certification. The proposal must be submitted as one electronic PDF file through PlanetBids.
