Description
Eastern Municipal Water District is soliciting a contractor to re-roof five buildings at three facilities using cold-applied, seamless WeatherWeld reinforced roofing systems. The work covers the Perris Regional Water Reclamation Facility, Hemlock Booster, and Moreno Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses, and a proposed schedule, including a Gantt chart and completion of the project within no more than 90 calendar days from the start date. The scope includes roof preparation and installation, flashing and drainage work, cleanup, safety measures, and coordination for inspections and a 40-year WeatherWeld warranty. Contractors must review hazardous-materials reports and provide line-item pricing for any required asbestos, lead, or heavy-metals removal, disposal, stabilization, or replacement work. A California C-39 license, prevailing-wage compliance, payment and performance bonds, insurance, and applicable asbestos and hazardous-materials qualifications are required. Subcontracting is permitted only with the district's written approval.
