Description
The City of Riverside is soliciting proposals from a qualified entity or individual to provide Emergency Ambulance Service. The scope includes comprehensive 9-1-1 Advanced Life Support ambulance services, emergency medical response, patient assessment and treatment, ambulance transport, mutual aid participation, and related services. The contractor must provide an average of 228 ALS unit hours per day, with at least 13 ALS units during peak staffing and 6 units overnight. The City will retain billing and provider-of-record authority, and compensation will use a unit-hour model. The initial contract term is five years, with two additional one-year extension options, for a maximum term of seven years. The anticipated contract start date is October 1, 2027. Proposals must include the required narrative proposal, qualifications and experience, approach and methodology, professional references, disclosures, applicable exhibits or attachments, and the Exhibit E Excel cost worksheets.
