Description
Alpine Union School District is soliciting bids for Phase 2 replacement of existing built-up roofing in the mechanical wells at Boulder Oaks Elementary School. The scope includes demolition and off-site disposal, installation of a mechanically fastened gypsum fiber cover board, crickets, a 60-mil white PVC roofing system, roof accessories, walk pads, flashings, counter-flashing replacement, skylight removal and curb modifications, roof-debris cleanup, and coping removal and resealing. Contractors must verify the approximate coping seam counts identified in the attachments. The work is classified as public works and requires prevailing wages. Work is to be performed while school is not in session, with a preferred work window of December 19, 2026, through January 3, 2027, and a second stated option of March 20, 2027, through April 3, 2027. The solicitation requires a 20-year manufacturer warranty and a two-year workmanship warranty. Pricing is requested for Area 5 and as an option for Area 3; the completed bid form must be emailed to the designated district contact.
