Missouri Western State University is soliciting proposals for replacement of the existing roof system at the Kit Bond Incubator. The selected contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related services; prepare the roof for an overlay system; mechanically fasten 1/2-inch high-density polyiso insulation; install a Carlisle or approved-equal 60-mil fully adhered TPO roof system; flash walls and roof penetrations; install new 24-gauge coping; reuse existing coping above metal wall panels; remove and reinstall the lighting-rod system; remove and dispose of debris; perform daily cleanup; protect occupants and property; and repair damage caused during the work. A 20-year manufacturer's warranty covering materials and labor is required. The proposal must include pricing for the large main upper roof section and an alternate for three lower roof sections. Attachment A requires pricing, business and operations information, warranty and maintenance information, complaint-resolution procedures, and at least three relevant client references from the past 10 years. Attachment B, a W-9, a notarized Affidavit of Work Authorization with completed MOU signature pages, applicable addenda, and a 5% bid bond are also required. Missouri prevailing-wage requirements apply. The preferred completion date is December 31, 2026, with final completion required no later than March 1, 2027.
