Description
The Town of Winthrop seeks a contractor to replace the roof at its municipal ambulance station. Work includes removing and disposing of the existing roofing, inspecting and repairing roof decking as needed, installing membrane on flat roof sections and new roofing across the building, and providing necessary flashings, edging, and roof vent ridges. The contractor must provide all labor and materials, manage waste, obtain necessary permits, protect the property, and provide a project schedule, progress reports, and a minimum five-year warranty covering labor and materials. Proposals must include a cover letter and contact information; three similar-project references; personnel qualifications and experience; documentation of relevant litigation actions from the past five years; a detailed project proposal with timelines and completion date; a complete itemized price proposal and payment schedule; and the attached Conflict of Interest Bid Disclosure Form. Contractors must have operated under their current company name for at least five years and personally inspect the site before submitting. Proposals are evaluated on relevant experience and cost.
