Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for a complete roofing system for Building 352, D-Yard 180, at High Desert State Prison. This is a materials-and-fabrication purchase only; the State will perform installation. The scope includes an adhered 80-mil PVC thermoplastic roofing membrane for approximately 31,000 square feet over a concrete deck, insulation, flashings, sheet-metal products, adhesives, sealants, vents, fasteners, drains, and related roofing components. Approved equals may be proposed for referenced brands and products. Bidders must provide detailed material lists with quantities, pricing, and brand/model information; product data or cut sheets; an FM Global wind-uplift listing; shop drawings; manufacturer certifications and installation instructions; a sample manufacturer’s 10-year full-system, no-dollar-limit warranty; and the completed CDCR Roof System Review Checklist. The selected supplier must provide technical assistance, on-site inspection, testing, training, and certification of CDCR staff by the roofing manufacturer’s representative. Materials must be delivered to High Desert State Prison after submittal approval, generally within 90 days after issuance of the purchase order and Notice to Proceed. The solicitation is all-or-none, requires F.O.B. destination pricing, and includes a mandatory bidder walk-through.
