Description
Jefferson County Facilities Management is soliciting a contractor to remove the existing air-cooled chiller and associated chilled-water equipment and install a new air-cooled chiller, hydronic pumps, buffer tank, air separator, expansion tank, glycol feeder, chemical feeder, piping, insulation, controls, electrical connections, heat tracing, and related appurtenances. The work includes demolition, field verification, permits, coordination, testing, adjusting and balancing, commissioning, startup, and integration with the existing building automation system. The contractor must provide equipment submittals, shop drawings, a construction schedule, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranty documentation, startup and TAB reports, and other closeout deliverables. The work must be completed no later than April 20, 2027, with disruptive work coordinated around facility operations and performed outside normal business hours unless approved.
