Description
Union County, North Carolina, is soliciting formal sealed bids for a single-prime, lump-sum contract to provide a complete, turnkey replacement of two existing domestic-water boilers at the Union County Detention Center. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing equipment; furnishing and installing new condensing domestic-water boilers; domestic-water, gas, venting, condensate, electrical, and accessory connections; testing; startup; training; permits; inspections; and related work required by the contract documents. Bidders must be properly licensed in North Carolina, provide applicable contractor license information, comply with non-collusion requirements, and include a five-percent bid deposit. The solicitation references bid drawings, project specifications, a price form, and related contract documents. Bid documents and addenda must be obtained through the designated bid-room registration process.
