Description
The City and County of Denver, through the Mayor's Office of Social Equity and Innovation and Office of Neighborhood Safety, is soliciting proposals for three service areas: on-call violence interruption services, secondary prevention case management, and gender-specific programming. Applicants may apply for one, two, or all three areas. Services target Denver youth and communities at elevated risk of gang, group, and gun violence. The scope includes rapid response to shooting events, conflict mediation, Safe Haven community events, year-round one-on-one case management for youth and families, referrals and supportive services, gender-specific programming for female, nonbinary/gender-expansive, and LGBTQIA2S+ youth, data collection and reporting, secure case-management documentation, trained internal staff, and required background checks and insurance. The anticipated initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with funding structured by service area and award limits.
