Description
This bid package seeks a prequalified plumbing subcontractor to furnish and install complete plumbing work for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The scope includes make-safe work for demolition; underground waste and vent piping; domestic hot, cold, and return water; propane piping from the owner's tank/regulator to appliances and the water heater; fixtures; a propane water heater; circulator; dishwasher, ice maker, hood, and DOAS condensate connections; permits; access panels; firestopping; as-builts; operations and maintenance manuals; and training. The lump-sum, turnkey bid must include labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, fees, testing, restoration, and related customary trade work. Bidders must be prequalified and submit the provided bid form in a sealed envelope. The package also includes alternate pricing for a south wall sink and a demonstration station, requested pricing for a propane tank and first-stage regulator, unit prices, lead times, exclusions, qualifications, and addenda acknowledgment. Site requirements include worker background checks, identification, no contact with students, E-Verify, insurance, hot-work permitting, fire-watch procedures, and compliance with RRP practices for assumed lead paint.
