Description
The U.S. Geological Survey is requesting a brand-name Nikon ECLIPSE Ci-POL polarizing microscope system with a Digital Sight 100 microscope camera and NIS-Elements acquisition and analysis software. The required configuration includes the microscope body, trinocular tube, eyepieces, intermediate tube, centering nosepiece, 5X/10X/20X objectives, mechanical stage, polarizer, condenser lens, lamps, dust cover, relay optics, cables, power accessories, and IR cut filter. The requirement also includes onsite installation, integration, firmware updates, training, and software assistance. Quotes must include authentic, manufacturer-certified and warranted products in original manufacturer packaging; gray-market, counterfeit, and resale items will not be accepted. Technical brochures or detailed specifications must demonstrate compliance with the stated salient characteristics, including Section 508 accessibility requirements and an Accessibility Conformance Report for each commercially available ICT item.
