Description
The City of Englewood Facilities Division is establishing a pool of pre-qualified general contractors to provide on-call construction, renovation, repair, maintenance, and improvement services for City-owned and managed properties. Work may include building improvements, demolition, framing, doors and hardware, painting and finishes, flooring, drywall, ceiling systems, and incidental mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Contractors must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, subcontractor coordination, and related services. Work will be issued through individual task orders, mini-bids for planned work, and urgent work offers, with emergency assignments potentially requiring mobilization within 24 hours. The initial contract term is one year from execution, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods. Multiple contractors may be selected. The proposal must address company information, experience and technical capability, project understanding and approach, draft agreement comments, pricing information, key personnel, and three substantially completed reference projects. A bonding capacity letter from a qualified surety is required, and the proposal is limited to 10 pages excluding specified materials and appendices.
